Champagne Extra Brut “Ultradition” Laherte Frères
Laherte Frères’ Extra Brut “Ultradition” Champagne perfectly balances tradition and craftsmanship. This cuvée is predominantly Pinot Meunier, blended with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, sourced from 30-year-old vineyards in the Vallée de la Marne, Côte des Blancs, and Coteaux Sud d’Épernay. Fermentation occurs partly in stainless steel and partly in oak barrels, while 40% of the reserve wines are aged in oak casks to enhance complexity.
After secondary fermentation, the Champagne matures on the lees for 48 months, developing an intense and layered bouquet. The nose reveals aromas of ripe white fruit, almonds, dried flowers, and delicate pastry notes. The palate is rich and creamy, with a velvety texture balanced by vibrant freshness and pronounced minerality. The finish is long, dry, and lively, embodying the artisanal philosophy of the Maison. Ideal for those seeking an authentic and distinctive Champagne experience.
