Chapelle-Chambertin Grand Cru 2019 Domaine Philippe Livera
Chapelle Chambertin Grand Cru 2019 is a red wine from Burgundy produced using natural methods by Domaine Philippe Livera. The Pinot Noir grapes come from the few rows of this renowned Grand cru vineyard, in the lieu-dit "Les Gemeaux", from plants about 80 years old that grow on soils are very rocky and shallow, with "mother rock" of limestone not far from the surface.
The wine is made using natural farming methods that aim to express the different terroirs in an authentic way. The fermentations are spontaneous, using only indigenous yeasts, while the wine is aged in 60% new French oak barrels for a period of 11 to 18 months depending on the vintage.
This Chapelle-Chambertin Grand Cru 2019 expresses aromas of violets, pepper, red berries and smoky notes on the nose, for a refined and enveloping sip.
