Chardonnay 2023 Grosjean

The 2023 Chardonnay is a natural wine produced by Grosjean, from 100% Chardonnay grapes coming partly from the Quart vineyards and partly from Jovençan. This bottle is an interesting version of wine from international grapes that manages to express the unique characteristics of the Valdostan terroir at its best, even though Chardonnay has always been a key player in the region.

All winemaking processes follow the principles of biodynamic and natural agriculture, fermentation uses locally selected yeasts and ageing takes place in stainless steel to preserve the freshness and primary characteristics of the grapes.

Grosjean's Chardonnay 2023 is straw yellow in colour, with a beautiful aromatic complexity on the nose with hints of citrus and exotic fruit and mineral salts. The sip is precise and fresh, at the same time soft, with a nice fruity length on the finish.
