Chassagne-Montrachet 2022 Domaine Larue
Chassagne-Montrachet 2022 is a white wine from Burgundy produced by Domaine Larue. It is made from vines of the Chardonnay variety that were planted between 1977 and 2018, the plots are south-facing at an altitude of 230 metres and lie flat on deep clay-limestone soil.
After soft pressing, the juice is gravity-fed from the press to the oak barrels where the wine ferments, followed by ageing in 20% new oak barrels for 10 months.
This Chassagne-Montrachet 2022 shows a clear, intense and deep straw yellow colour in the glass. The nose expresses aromas of white flowers, crisp white fruit and slight smoky tones. It has good roundness on the palate, with volume and great balance on the finish.
