Bordeaux Côtes de France "Barthélemy" Rouge 2010 Château Le Puy
Côtes de France "Barthélemy" Rouge is a great Bordeaux wine produced with organic and biodynamic methods by Château Le Puy
Grown from a plot called 'Les Rocs', planted with 85% merlot and 15% cabernet sauvignon, this wine is made, after an often long vinification without additions, by aging in used barrels for 24 months, by dynamization according to the phases of the moon, without adding sulfur dioxide or anything else. It is then bottled without any filtration.
Intense ruby red color. The nose offers a complex bouquet of flowers and ripe red fruits, aromatic herbs and a slight spiciness. In the mouth, the wine has great structure: full body, enveloping tannins and good acidity. Persistent and decidedly harmonious.
Barthélemy is the ideal complement to all grilled meats, game, mushrooms and all delicate dishes, as it does not cannibalize their nuances of flavors.
