Chateau Mouton 2000 Rothschild
Chateau Mouton 2000 is a fine French wine from the Bordeaux region, produced by Rothschild. On the occasion of this amazing signed vintage he decided to transform this unobtainable bottle into a real work of art! Baroness Philippine de Rothschild decided that the bottle would necessarily become a collector's item, the option as an object the small "Augsburg Ram", made around 1590 by Jakob Schenauer, a German metal master smith, is a silver chalice golden and 'symbol of Mouton', used to decorate each bottle since the year 2000. The glassmaker has developed a new technique to glaze the relief to capture the gaze of the original work. The bottles features the name of Mouton and Rosetta, the data and the signature of Baroness Philippine de Rothschild, all in gold. Each bottle is engraved with the name Château Mouton-Rothschild, as a certificate of authenticity. This extraordinary and nowhere to be found Chateau Mouton 2000 has a marvelous garnet color that precedes a complex bouquet of fruity aromas of plum, fruit jam, fern and undergrowth. The sip in the mouth is full and powerful with tannins present but velvety. We find the aroma of fern and undergrowth that was perceived on the nose along with a smoky note. Very long harmonious finish for a wine with great aging potential. Perfect match with foie gras and veal.
