This vineyard is located along the route that the monks traveled daily to reach Saint-Vivant Abbey from Vosne-Romanée. Located at a higher altitude, the vineyard overlooks the famous Grand Cru of Vosne-Romanée. The terroir here is characterized by calcareous clay soil, ideal for growing Pinot Noir.
Traditional production techniques and careful selection of the best Pinot Noir grapes result in a wine of great finesse and elegance. Chemin des Moines de Vergy has a rich aromatic bouquet, with notes of black flowers, cherry, delicate raspberry, clove and a slight hint of earth.
