Chianti Classico Vigneto Bellavista 2004 Castello di Ama
The grapes used for the production of Chianti Classico Vigneto Bellavista 2004 are exclusively Sangiovese, the most representative grape variety of Tuscany. The grapes come from the winery's own Bellavista vineyard, located in the area of Gaiole in Chianti, one of the most prestigious Chianti Classico production areas.
The vinification of Chianti Classico Vigneto Bellavista 2004 follows traditional techniques and artisanal production methods. After harvest, the grapes are destemmed and gently crushed, and the must is fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats for about 15 days. Next, the wine is transferred to French oak barrels for aging, where it rests for at least 12 months before release.
From an organoleptic point of view, Chianti Classico Vigneto Bellavista 2004 is a wine of great elegance and complexity. The nose reveals intense notes of ripe red fruit, spices and hints of oak. In the mouth it is full and structured, with soft, velvety tannins, excellent acidity and a long, lingering finish. This is a wine of great balance, fully expressing the character of its terroir of origin. Chianti Classico Vigneto Bellavista 2004 from Castello di Ama is a wine that can be cellared for many years before reaching its full maturity.
