Chorey-les-Beaune 2020 Domaine Lou Dumont-Nakada
Chorey-les-Beaune 2020 is a Burgundy red wine produced by Domaine Lou Dumont-Nakada. It is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes from 40 year old vines from the village of Chorey-les-Beaune, produced with the utmost attention to each stage of production in search of the highest quality product, with minimal intervention in both the vineyard and the cellar. The must undergoes 3-5 days of cold maceration on the skins and ferments spontaneously for about 15 days. The wine then spends 18 months in 33% new oak barrels and one month in stainless steel tanks before bottling. The Chorey-les-Beaune 2020 shows a dark ruby red colour in the glass, while the nose offers a light smoky aroma and a hint of spice. The sip is rich with firm and persistent tannins. This wine reaches its full potential with age.
