Clos Saint Denis Grand Cru 2019 Dujac
In the range of Domaine Dujac's wines we find this fine label, obtained by Pinot Noir grapes coming from Clos Saint-Denis, which is a Grand Cru appellation of Côte de Nuits. Clos Saint-Denis spreads on a surface of more than 6 hectares, in the commune of Morey-Saint-Denis.
The winery has been using organic viticultural methods since 2001, and the must ferments in stainless steel tanks, using only indigenous yeasts. The aging takes place in French barriques, 60-85% new, for a period of 18 months, after which it is bottled without any filtration.
Clos Saint Denis Grand Cru 2019 from Domaine Dujac expresses a beautiful intense ruby red color at sight, while the nose offers aromas of red fruits such as strawberry and raspberry, and spicy notes. The sip is very elegant with fine tannins, animated by a nice freshness that invites another sip.
