Condrieu Vernillon 2016 Domaine Jamet
Domaine Jamet's Condrieu Vernillon 2016 is a white wine from the Rhone Valley produced using natural methods. It is made from Viognier grapes from the Cote Chatillon area, on soils characterised by schist and granite that give the wine great personality.
Domaine Jamet, a great representative of wines from the northern Rhône Valley, works according to sustainable methods that are highly respectful of the land: the grapes ferment spontaneously using only indigenous yeasts in steel tanks, and then age mainly in amphora for about 80% and in barrique for the rest for 12 months.
The Vernillon Condrieu 2016 from Domaine Jamet has an intense yellow colour, while the nose offers a deep bouquet of yellow fruit such as apricot, elegant notes of white flowers and mineral salts. The taste is rich and concentrated, harmonious. In the mouth there are returns of yellow fruit such as apple and citrus, flowers and mineral touches.
