Cornas 2012 Clape
Cornas 2012 is a fine red wine from the Rhone Valley produced by the Clape winery. This bottle is a great interpretation of the Syrah of the northern Cote du Rhone, vinified in a careful and traditional way: the grapes, from the best soils of the area, are harvested by hand when they are perfectly ripe. Vinification is carried out separately by parcel using indigenous yeasts with stalks, and the wine then matures for almost two years in old foudres. This Cornas 2012, a wine that as a young wine has an impetuous and vigorous character, expresses its full potential with a few years of ageing in the bottle, which gives it depth and incredible silkiness and roundness.
