Côte de Nuits-Villages 2018 Domaine Henri Naudin Ferrand
Côte de Nuits-Villages 2018 is a fine Burgundy wine produced using natural methods by Domaine Henri Naudin Ferrand. The Pinot Noir grapes come from a plot of land located in the commune of Corgoloin, in a place called "Le Clos de Magny", from a vineyard that was planted between 1963 and 1992 on clay-limestone soils with an eastern exposure (ideal ripening of pinot noir).
The grapes are harvested by hand and the wine is aged in oak barrels, 29% of which are new. This Côte de Nuits-Villages 2018 expresses a fascinating nose of ripe red fruits and sweet spices (vanilla, cinnamon, wild pepper). The wood is expressed through its softness and sweetness and notes of toast and liquorice. The fruit is rich and fresh, with a tendency towards black fruits (blackberries, blueberries).
The palate is elegant and fleshy, with a solid structure based on fine, well-coated tannins. It is the expression of a harmonious vintage, resulting from a successful ripening of the grapes.
