Côte Rotie Colline de Couzou 2019 Bonnefond

Côte Rotie Colline de Couzou 2019 is a fine wine from the Rhone Valley produced by Bonnefond. It is the first Côte Rotie cuvée produced by brothers Patrick & Christophe Bonnefond, made from 100% Syrah grapes from various plots in the appellation, growing on clay, mica and granite soils.

The 2019 Côte Rotie Colline de Couzou shows in the glass a ruby red colour with purple highlights. The nose expresses fruity aromas, spices and floral notes, for a powerful sip, with firm but well-blended tannins and a fresh finish.

This "Colline de Couzou" cuvée is an intense and elegant expression of Syrah from the Northern Rhône Valley. With excellent ageing potential, when the tannins have harmonised further with the body of the wine, it is also pleasant to drink in its youth.
