Côtes du Jura "Les Chalasses Marnes Bleues" Magnum 2011 Ganevat
Côtes du Jura "Les Chalasses Marnes Bleues" is a great natural wine produced by the hands of Jura icon Jean-François Ganevat. It is made from Savagnin grapes from vines planted in 1933 on blue marl soils in the village of Le Chalass.
The unique soils give the grapes an extraordinary mineral richness and the characteristic freshness of lemon. After a gentle, sulphite-free fermentation, the wine matures on the lees for more than two years. The careful work of the winemaker can not only preserve, but also enhance the varietal characteristics of Savagnin and the expression of the terroir. The storage potential of Le Chalass Marne Bleu exceeds 15 years.
