Mon Coeur Côtes-du-Rhône 2020 J.L Chave Sélection

'Mon Coeur' is a wine unique to Jean-Louis Chave not only for its appellation, but also for the derivation of the grapes. It is made from a blend of 60% Grenache, 30% Syrah and 10% Mourvèdre from eight excellent vineyards in the Valreas, Visan and Buisson areas, all chosen for their low yields and exceptional fruit quality.

The vineyards in this area are planted at an altitude of almost 900 feet on a clay soil, but extremely rich in limestone. Due to the high altitude and northern location, the vineyard produces a wine with incredible elegance and finesse.

The Mon Coeur Côtes-du-Rhône 2020 J.L Chave Sélection is a red wine from the Rhône that expresses refined floral, red fruit and sweet spice aromas on the nose, for a well-balanced sip with silky tannin.
