Cuvée Clémence 2017 Domaine de la Loue
Cuvée Clémence 2017 is a red wine from the Jura produced using natural methods by Domaine de la Loue. It is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes from 36-year-old vines planted in the commune of Marnoz, which grow facing south-east on clay and limestone soils. Fermentation takes place spontaneously with indigenous yeasts with a very short maceration period of about a week to ensure that not too many tannins are extracted. The result is a wine that is not too rich in colour and has a predominantly fruity profile. Catherine had the idea of producing a different wine from her Cuveè Roger made from Trosseau grapes, a much more structured liquid than this Cuvée Clémence, which is an unusual Pinot, lighter and with a bitterish note, although faithful to the grape variety in terms of aroma.
