Dolcetto d'Alba 2018 De Forville

The Dolcetto d'Alba from De Forville is an exceptional expression of the Dolcetto grape variety from the vineyards in the Loreto area within the municipality of Barbaresco. Thanks to the characteristics of the terroir, this wine stands out for its extraordinary harmony and pleasantness.

The ruby red color with intense violet reflections anticipates a vinous and characteristic bouquet, with clear hints of ripe cherry and plum. On the palate, it reveals itself as dry and harmonious, with well-balanced tannins and a pleasant note of almond.

This Dolcetto is ideal to be enjoyed even after two or three years from bottling, perfectly complementing first courses of pasta, soups, meats, and cheeses. Served at room temperature, around 18°C from the second year, it represents an irreplaceable companion at the table for true wine connoisseurs.
