Échezeaux Grand Cru Les Loachausses 2020 is a great Burgundy wine produced by Domaine Anne Gros. The pinot noir grapes come from the 29-year-old vineyard owned by the company since 2007, located in the lieu dit les Loachausses.

A legendary place in Burgundy, Échezeaux is located on the Route des Grand Cru, a stone's throw from Vosne-Romanée and Vougeot. Thanks to a special climatic condition and suitable soils, the Pinot Noir expresses itself at an absolute level, with elegant and refined wines that are also endowed with good structure and remarkable longevity.

Matured in 30% new barrels, this Échezeaux Grand Cru Les Loachausses from Domaine Anne Gros presents itself in the glass with a beautiful garnet colour with luminous ruby red reflections. Elegant and intense, it is characterised by a bouquet reminiscent of small red berries, together with notes of underbrush and spices. The sip is structured and powerful, with good aromatic complexity and a dense but velvety tannic texture, perfectly integrated with the body of the wine, for a long and harmonious finish.
