Friulano 2023 Marco Sara

The Friulano 2023 by Marco Sara is an authentic white wine that elegantly embodies the tradition of Friuli Venezia Giulia. Made from old Friulano vines up to 60 years old, organically cultivated in Riu Falcon and Bellazoia at 175 to 300 meters above sea level, this wine reflects a deep respect for nature, with minimal intervention in the vineyard. The terroir, composed of marl and sandstone with clay, adds structure and complexity to the wine.

Vinification follows natural methods: the grapes, harvested late to encourage the development of botrytis cinerea, are pressed and fermented in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts, without undergoing malolactic fermentation. The wine then matures on fine lees, gaining depth and texture.

In the glass, it shines with a brilliant straw yellow color. The nose is delicate and fruity, with hints of ripe and tropical fruit, complemented by fresh herbal notes. On the palate, it is juicy and smooth, with refreshing acidity and a pleasant salty finish that lingers. No embellishments, no excess—Marco Sara’s Friulano captivates with its purity and subtly intriguing character.
