Gevrey Chambertin Clos Village 2019 Domaine Philippe Livera
Gevrey Chambertin Clos Village 2019 is a red wine from Burgundy produced using natural methods by Domaine Philippe Livera. Pinot Noir grapes come from vines over 70 years old growing on prestigious soils, the "Clos Village" is truly the heart and soul of Gevrey. Soft and harmonious, with fruit, flowers and great elegance.
The wine is made using natural farming methods that aim to express the different terroirs in an authentic way. The fermentations are spontaneous, using only indigenous yeasts, while the wine is aged in 40% new French oak barrels for a period of 11 to 18 months depending on the vintage.
This Gevrey Chambertin Clos Village 2019 expresses aromas of pepper, red berries, milk chocolate and liquorice on the nose. The sip is deep with ripe tannins and mineral notes on the finish.
