"Giulio Ferrari" is one of the most important labels in the international panorama as for the history of Italian classic method, it was created in 1972 by Mauro Lunelli in honor of the founder of the winery. Chardonnay grapes come from Maso Pianizza, the oldest and most prestigious cru of the winery, located between 500 and 600 meters of altitude.
A careful vinification process ends with a long aging on lees for 10 years, which allows this sparkling wine to express the best of its potentialities. Giulio Ferrari Riserva del Fondatore shows in the glass a marvelous brilliant straw yellow color with golden reflections, with a fine, numerous and persistent perlage.
The nose offers an intense and multifaceted bouquet of fruity aromas, dried and candied fruit, notes of honey, dried flowers, vanilla and white chocolate. The sip is rich, balanced by creaminess and freshness, incredibly persistent.
