Goliardo Tinto 2018 Bodegas Forjas Del Salnes
The 2018 Goliardo Tinto is a red wine from Spain produced by Bodegas Forjas Del Salnes. The Rias Baiaxas appellation in Galicia is the undisputed home of white wines made from Albarino grapes, but it is possible to find interesting red varieties, such as the caiño, sousón, loureiro and espadeiro grapes that make up this bottle, from vines averaging between 45 and 180 years old resting on sandy, granitic soil set at an altitude of 5m. This wine is fermented whole cluster in a 12 year old foudre, and expresses a fresh and mouth-watering nose of red fruits, notes of black tea and undergrowth. In the mouth it is medium-bodied, with aromas of red fruit and pepper, a nice freshness and a balanced finish. The red wines of Bodegas Forjas Del Salnes are called Tintos de Mar, due to their proximity to the sea, a name that reflects the freshness and ease of drinking of this wine.
