Greco di Tufo Vigna Cicogna 2021 Benito Ferrara
Greco di Tufo Vigna Cicogna 2021 is a wine from Campania produced by Benito Ferrara. It is made from 100% Greco grapes, one of the region's major white grape protagonists, and authentically expresses the terroir of Irpinia.
The grapes for the production of this wine, which is probably the most important in Benito Ferrara's range, come from the particularly well-suited plot 'Vigna Cicogna', located at about 500 metres above sea level with an eastern exposure.
Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, after which the wine matures for 7 months on the fine lees, which increase its structure and aromas.
The Vigna Cicogna Greco di Tufo 2021 shows a light straw yellow colour in the glass. The nose expresses an elegant bouquet of citrus fruits, aromatic herbs, Mediterranean scrub and notes of dried fruit. The sip has good structure and incredible freshness, ending in a savoury finish.
