The Hautes Côtes de Nuits Blanc 2022 is a wine that reflects the skill and passion of Jérémy Recchione, an emerging young winemaker from Burgundy. His adventure in the wine world began in 2010, and today he represents one of the promising new generations in Burgundy viticulture.
This wine is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes, cultivated in the prestigious Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Nuits appellation. The vines benefit from a unique terroir, characterized by limestone and clay soils that impart extraordinary complexity and finesse to the wine. The harvest is done by hand, using small 5 kg crates to preserve the integrity of the fruit. The grape selection is extremely rigorous, ensuring that only the best clusters are used for winemaking.
The vinification of the Hautes Côtes de Nuits Blanc 2022 follows traditional methods with a particular focus on quality. After harvesting, the grapes are vinified and aged for 10 months in wooden barrels. This process gives the wine aromatic complexity and a balanced structure, allowing the character of the Chardonnay to fully express itself.
The Hautes Côtes de Nuits Blanc 2022 presents a bright straw-yellow color. On the nose, the wine offers an intense bouquet of fresh fruit, with predominant notes of pear and apricot, accompanied by delicate mineral aromas of flint. On the palate, the wine is bright and smooth, with an enveloping texture and a pleasant and refreshing finish. The alcohol content of 12.5% provides the wine with a perfect balance between freshness and structure.
Production is limited to only 2,600 bottles, making each bottle of this Chardonnay a rare and precious gem. This wine is an authentic expression of Burgundy's terroir and Jérémy Recchione's winemaking expertise.
