L'Inconditionnel Domaine du Bienheureux
L'Inconditionnel is a red wine produced by Domaine du Bienheureux, a young and promising domaine in the AOC Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Created by Eugénie Avias in 2000, this wine stands out for its elegance and sophistication, expressing the purity of the fruit and the typicality of the terroir.
L'Inconditionnel is primarily made from Grenache Noir, the dominant grape variety of the appellation. The grapes come from vineyards cultivated on soils rich in limestone pebbles, the characteristic "galets roulés" of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, which impart minerality, complexity, and aging potential.
The winemaking follows a traditional approach, with spontaneous fermentation in concrete and wooden vats. The wine ages in French oak barrels for a variable period of up to 24 months.
L'Inconditionnel presents itself with an intense and luminous ruby red color. On the nose, it offers a complex bouquet of ripe red fruits, spices, licorice, black pepper, and mineral notes. On the palate, it is powerful and structured, with a full body, elegant tannins, and a persistent finish that reveals the terroir's minerality.
This wine pairs perfectly with hearty and flavorful dishes, such as red meats, game, aged cheeses, and pasta dishes with meat sauces.
