Langhe Nebbiolo 2021 Olek Bondonio
Olek Bondonio's Langhe Nebbiolo 2021 is a pure, lively and characterful red wine from Piedmont. Made from Nebbiolo grapes grown without chemicals in the vineyard and fermented with only indigenous yeasts in cement barrels, it spontaneously undergoes malolactic fermentation and is aged in large wooden barrels for 18 months, without any filtration at bottling.
Olek Bondonio produces natural wine in Barbaresco and his vineyards grow close to the great names that have made Barbaresco history, such as Gaja and the Barbaresco producers, to whom Olek gave his grapes before he started making his own wine in 2005. Olek is the new artisanal face of the Langhe, and people are starting to talk about him all over the world.
Olek Bondonio's Langhe Nebbiolo 2020 shows a vivid ruby red colour to the eye. Its perfume, clean and intense, develops mainly on fruity and floral aromas, to which light spicy notes are added. The taste is fresh and clean, medium-bodied and with amalgamated tannins, it flows on the palate with extreme pleasantness.
