Langhe Nebbiolo 2021 Piero Benevelli
Langhe Nebbiolo 2021 is a wine made from Nebbiolo grapes grown in the Langhe, one of the most vocated areas of Piedmont for the production of important and long-lived red wines. The grapes come from estate vineyards located in the communes of Monforte d'Alba, cultivated according to the principles of organic farming and environmental sustainability.
Pure Nebbiolo, an indigenous Langhe grape variety par excellence, is vinified with extreme care and attention by winemaker Piero Benevelli, with fermentation in steel and aging in Slavonian oak barrels for 12 months. Piero Benevelli's production philosophy is geared toward the maximum expression of terroir and grape variety, with limited intervention that respects nature.
Langhe Nebbiolo 2021 has an intense ruby red color with garnet highlights. The nose expresses floral notes of violets and roses, accompanied by sensations of small red fruits, sweet spices and a hint of underbrush. The palate is dry, harmonious and well structured with soft and silky tannins. An elegant wine that well represents the typicality of Nebbiolo from the Langhe. Excellent with traditional Piedmontese dishes such as tajarin al ragù, braised beef with Barolo and alpine cheeses.
