Le Glanon Chardonnay 2023 from Fruitière Vinicole de Pupillin is a white wine that fully expresses the Jura terroir. Sourced from 25-year-old vines planted at 250 meters on iridescent marl soils, this Chardonnay combines freshness and depth.
Hand-harvested and fully destemmed, the grapes undergo a gentle pressing after a few hours of skin contact. Native yeast fermentation occurs in wooden vats, followed by 12 months of ageing in foudre. The wine is bottled unfiltered, unfined, and without added SO₂, preserving its pure and natural character.
In the glass, it displays a pale golden hue. The bouquet reveals delicate aromas of white flowers, ripe pear, and apple, with a subtle mineral undertone. The palate is creamy and well-balanced, with vibrant freshness and a long, citrus-driven finish.
