Le Rouge du Max Vin De France Michel Gahier
Le Rouge du Max is a Vin de France produced using natural methods by Michel Gahier. It is made from 100% Tousseau grapes that are vinified with partial destemming, followed by 15 months of ageing in large barrels, plus a further year in 600-litre demi-muid.
"le Rouge du Max" is a young and immediate Trousseau, and despite its simplicity it confirms itself as a pure and authentic expression of the terroir of Arbois, as do all the labels produced by Michel Gahier.
Rouge du Max shows an intense ruby red colour to the eye, while the nose offers intensely fruity aromas. The sip is very fresh, characterised by a remarkable tannic grip.
