Merlot 2018 Miani

Merlot 2018 is a fine Italian wine produced by Miani. Made from 100% Merlot grapes grown in the area of the Colli Orientali del Friuli denomination, an area particularly suited for the production of white wines, where they are born among the best Italian white wines. The company also cultivates autochthonous and international red berried varieties capable of giving pure and representative wines of the terroir, where the Friulian ponca gives elegant minerality also to red wines. As in the case of this Merlot 2018, which shows an intense ruby red color; the nose releases complex forest aromas, from wild blackberry to plum and black cherry, with vegetal notes and then spiced with clove, juniper, pepper, rose, sandalwood, withered flowers and tobacco. In the mouth it is fine, balanced between softness and freshness with a juicy fruit and spicy finish.
