Miani’s Merlot Buri 2021 is a remarkable expression of Merlot from the Colli Orientali del Friuli. Sourced from the prestigious vineyards of Buri and Badie, planted on marly soils typical of the region, this wine strikes a perfect balance between tradition and enological mastery.
In the glass, it shines with a deep ruby red color, adorned with garnet highlights, and reveals a dense, concentrated texture. On the nose, it offers a sophisticated bouquet: ripe red and black fruits such as raspberries, currants, and blueberries blend with spicy hints of cinnamon, white pepper, and vanilla. Vegetal notes of clover and tobacco, along with mineral and balsamic nuances of eucalyptus and mint, add depth and complexity.
The palate is a harmonious symphony: silky and enveloping on entry, with velvety tannins that are beautifully balanced by freshness and savoriness.
