Meursault 1er Cru Perrières 2014 Bouzereau
Meursault 1er Cru Perrières 2014 is a fine white wine from Burgundy produced by Domaine Bouzereau. It is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes that come from the prestigious 1er Cru "Perrieres" vineyard, just 0.46 hectares in size, on a clay-limestone matrix soil with very stony soil and decaying marl. The vines growing in this vineyard were planted partly in 1939, partly in 1956 and partly in 2005. Maturation takes place in 30% new oak barrels for a period of 16 to 18 months. The Meursault 1er Cru Perrières 2014 from Domaine Bouzereau has an intense straw yellow colour with golden highlights; the nose expresses a mouth-watering bouquet of yellow plums, brioche, almond and mineral salts, for an elegant, clean, yet complex and savoury sip.
