Meursault 2016 Domaine Roulot

Meursault 2016 is a fine French Burgundy wine produced by Domaine Roulot. This cuvée is made up of 100% Chardonnay grapes from three different areas, les Gruyaches, Crotot and Clos de la Baronne, the former located in the lower part of the hill on the Puligny-Montrachet side, the latter in contact with the town. It is a rich, full and complex Meursault Blanc but at the same time extremely elegant. In the vineyard biological and biodynamic procedures are followed, while in the cellar 15% new wood is used, to guarantee harmony and silkiness to the wines. Roulot's Meursault 2016 is a label of great charm and complexity: it shows a beautiful straw yellow color to the eye; The nose is rich and complex with a fruity bouquet of citrus and candied fruit and mineral notes, with a long pleasantly savory finish.
