Meursault 2019 Ballot-Millot
Domaine Ballot-Millot's Meursault 2019 is made from Chardonnay grapes that come from 20-50 year old vines spread over 7 parcels in Meursault, on clay-limestone soils with a south-eastern exposure.
A white wine that fully reflects Charles Ballot's philosophy through an incredible balance between structure and freshness: the winery's Meursaults are in fact characterised by a fresher, more mineral style than the fatter, honeyed and nutty style that was there a decade ago. All its labels fully express the love and passion that the winery has for its land, and is the result of precise work that blends tradition and innovation.
The wine has a beautiful straw-yellow colour with golden highlights, and the nose expresses a typical bouquet of yellow fruit, citrus fruits, mineral notes and sweet spices. The taste is drinkable, balanced between body and freshness.
