Meursault Les Chavalières 2020 is a white Burgundy wine produced by Domaine Jean-Philippe Fichet. The vineyard of the same name from which the Chardonnay grapes for the production of this label derive is located north-east of the village of Meursault, where the winery is based. This fine Burgundy wine has a fresh, mineral and elegant style in its youth to give way to greater richness and fatness with age. It offers fruity, honeyed and floral aromas, with touches of vanilla.

The Meursault Les Chevalières is yet another confirmation of the quality and prestige of a Burgundy estate that we really like: Domaine Jean Philippe Fichet. The strength of the Domaine lies in the maniacal precision that Jean Philippe adopts in the vineyard, convinced that this is the basis for quality wines. Only after ensuring that the grapes are fully ripe are they harvested and then vinified separately parcel by parcel to respect the characteristics of the different terroirs.

The fine white Burgundy wine Meursault Les Chevalières is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes from the vineyard of the same name located north-east of the village of Maursault, where Domaine Jean Philippe Fichet is based. In this area, the vines grow on moderately sloping, shallow stony soils with a north-eastern exposure, and produce sensational white wines with a great aptitude for ageing.

The bright colour of this white wine gives way to an intense, rich and chameleon-like nose: yellow fruit and honey give way to refined floral hints and touches of vanilla. The sip is fresh, elegant and mineral as it enters the mouth, giving way to greater creaminess and depth as the minutes pass.
