Monferrato Freisa 2020 Migliavacca

Monferrato Freisa 2020 is a red wine from Piedmont produced using natural methods by the Migliavacca winery. It is made from 100% Freisa grapes grown according to biodynamic farming principles, and is a fascinating expression of a grape variety that was considered minor for a long time, but which in fact has similarities with Nebbiolo in terms of ageing potential and aromatic range.

Spontaneous fermentation takes place in 40 hl Slavonian oak casks with 12-15 days' maceration on the skins, followed by ageing in stainless steel containers for 6 months.

Monferrato Freisa 2020 by Migliavacca expresses a ruby red colour, on the nose fruity and vinous scents for a tannic, fresh and mineral taste, good drinkability.
