Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Riserva 2016 Praesidium
Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Riserva 2016 is a natural red wine produced by Praesidium. This wine is made from 100% Montepulciano grapes and following a long period of maturation, this long-lived and complex red wine is born. After two years of rest in steel tanks and two more years of aging in oak casks, this Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Riserva DOC, from Praesidium winery, is completed with six months of aging in glass. The wine is neither pasteurized nor filtered, it is only naturally decanted by means of proper decanting. Sulfites are added in quantities much lower than the maximum limit imposed by the organic certification. Deep ruby red in color, it expresses a bouquet of fruity and spicy scents and notes of leather and underbrush. The taste is structured, tannic and persistent.
