Monthelie 1er Cru Le Meix Bataille 2019 Petit Roy

Monthelie 1er Cru Le Meix Bataille 2019 is a red wine from Burgundy produced by Domaine Petit Roy using biodynamic methods. It is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes that are hand-picked and vinified with 100% maceration on the stems, like almost all of the Domaine's red wines. The wine is aged in used oak barrels for 12 months (we prefer not to use new barrels to prevent the wood from covering the original characteristics of the grapes). On the nose, Domaine Petit Roy's Monthelie 1er Cru Le Meix Bataille 2019 gives notes of red fruits, raspberry, cherry and earthy, spicy notes. In the mouth, the wine is elegant and deep with present and delicate tannins that blend into a well-present structure.
