Morey Saint Denis 1er Cru La Riotte 2019 Domaine Taupenot Merme
Morey Saint Denis 1er Cru La Riotte 2019 is a fine red wine from Burgundy produced by Domaine Taupenot Merme. It is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes from the eponymous 1er Cru vineyard located in the village of Morey Saint-Denis, from vines of approximately 60 years of age grown according to sustainable organic viticulture principles. After spontaneous fermentation using indigenous yeasts, the wine is aged in 30% new oak for between 12 and 14 months. The Morey Saint Denis 1er Cru La Riotte 2019 from Domaine Taupenot Merme is ruby red in colour, expressing aromas of red fruits and flowers on the nose alternating with notes of liquorice. The palate is medium-bodied, with juicy tannins and a nice liveliness. It is a red wine very suitable for ageing.
