Morey-Saint-Denis 2019 Georges Lignier
Morey-Saint-Denis 2019 is a fine red wine from Burgundy produced by Domaine Georges Lignier. The grapes are 80% destemmed and the must undergoes cold maceration for 3-5 days before fermentation.
After pressing, the resulting wine is immediately put into 228-litre used oak casks where it is aged for 18 months. Georges Lignier's Morey-Saint-Denis 2019 presents an intense ruby red colour to the eye.
On the nose, it expresses a complex bouquet of fruit, dominant especially during its youth, and smoky notes. The spicy tones that stand out as it ages give it a special character, rare in the Côte de Nuits.
