Morey Saint Denis En Pierre Virant 2017 Domaine de Monts Luisant
Morey Saint Denis En Pierre Virant 2017 by Domaine de Monts Luisant is a fine French wine produced in Burgundy, in the commune of Morey Saint Denis. Like all red wines of Burgundy, it is produced exclusively with Pinot Noir grapes, naturally cultivated without the use of pesticides or other chemical compounds. The particularity of this Domaine lies in the pressing of the bunches which takes place as it was once done, a large vat and Jean-Marc Dufouleur, the owner of Domaine de Monts Luisant, crushing them with his feet. The result of pressing is fermented in the same open vat and then moved into wooden barrels, made up of 15% new wood. The Morey Saint Denis En Pierre Virant has a ruby red colour tending to light garnet, in the goblet there are elegant notes of spices and red fruits such as currants, raspberries, cherries, strawberries and sour cherries, all incredibly intertwined, fragrant and highly aromatic. In the mouth it is a silky, fine, voluptuous and aromatic wine with a graceful tannin that caresses the palate and never gets tired. The finish is long and persistent with a mineral and sapid finish.
