Orange One 2019 Paraschos
Paraschos' Orange One 2019 is a macerated white wine produced using natural methods, a pure and authentic wine that is made using traditional winemaking methods. The grape varieties that make up this label are Friulano, Malvasia Istriana and Ribolla Gialla, from 30-40 year old vines from different plots in Gorizia and San Floriano del Collio, growing on soil consisting of the famous 'ponca'.
Alcoholic fermentation takes place in oak vats with the skins without forced cooling and without indigenous yeasts; subsequent ageing takes place in large oak barrels (15 - 25 hectolitres) for 30 months.
The Orange One 2019 from Paraschos expresses a golden yellow colour that turns towards orange. The nose expresses a complex and varied bouquet of orange marmalade, spices, vegetable tones and roasted notes. The sip is balanced and deep, with hints of spices and jammy fruit.
