Petrosus Pinot Noir 2018 Yvan Bernard
Petrosus Pinot Noir 2018 is a natural wine produced by Yvan Bernard's company. Domaine Yvan Bernard was created by his own hands after sacrifices and hard work in 2002, in the territory of the Cote de Auvergne. This wine derives from Pinot noir grapes deriving from vineyards of about 30 years, which rest on granite soils, a stony terroir - hence the name of this cuvée, the Latin version of the village of Montpeyroux - on which the vine produces wines of high pure qualities that reflect the territory in an uncontaminated way. On the nose, lively aromas of cherry and black currant mix with balsamic and mineral notes. On the palate it is large, fleshy and well built around strong tannins and elegant oak. We will wait a few years to appreciate this bottle at its maximum form, perhaps accompanied by red meat dishes with pepper sauce.
