This Piedmontese red wine is made from 100% Croatina grapes from Alto Piemonte. It is aged one year in new and used tonneaux, followed by large Slavonian oak barrels. The nose offers aromas of ripe red fruits, notes of spices and herbs with a mineral finish. The taste is soft, full-bodied, enveloping the palate and showing firm tannins, soft but balanced by a nice freshness and a savoury finish.

Vino Rosso 2018 Le Piane

This Vino Rosso Piemontese is made from 100% Croatina grapes from Alto Piemonte and is a label that has become a classic of Le Piane, a reference point winery in Boca, in the province of Novara. It is aged for a year in new and used tonneaux, followed by large barrels of Slavonian oak.

It expresses a ruby red colour with garnet hues, while the nose offers aromas of ripe red fruits such as cherry and raspberry, notes of spices and herbs with a mineral finish. The taste is soft and full-bodied, enveloping the palate and showing firm tannins, soft but balanced by a nice freshness and a savoury finish.

A very pleasant wine to sip, which proves to be quite dynamic in pairings.
