Pinot Nero Case Via 2019 Fontodi (stained label)
Fontodi's Pinot Nero Case Via is a high-quality red wine produced in the Tuscany region of Italy. It is made exclusively using Pinot Nero grapes, a vine variety that does best in cool, well-ventilated soils.
To make this wine, the grapes are hand-picked and carefully selected. After crushing, the resulting must is left to ferment in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for about 3 weeks. Then, the wine is transferred to French oak barrels, where it undergoes malolactic fermentation and matures for 12 months.
During the maturation period, the wine acquires a deep ruby red color. On the nose, Pinot Noir Case Via di Fontodi presents a complex and intense bouquet, with notes of red fruit, spices, chocolate and light floral hints. In the mouth, it is elegant and well-structured, with soft tannins and fresh acidity.
Pinot Noir Case Via di Fontodi is a wine of great personality and complexity, which best expresses the characteristics of the terroir in which it is produced. Thanks to the winemaking techniques used, the wine manages to maintain a perfect balance between freshness, softness and structure, offering the palate a unique and intense taste experience. This wine is ideal to pair with red meat dishes, game and aged cheeses.
