Pinot Noir 2019 Entropy Wines
Pinot Noir 2019 is an Australian red wine produced by Entropy Wines. It is a beautiful, authentic and unadulterated expression of pinot noir, made using sustainable and environmentally friendly methods.
Ryan Ponsford fell in love with Pinot Noir after tasting a bottle from Bill Downie, a leading figure in biodynamic viticulture in Australia. Ryan decided to give Bill a hand in the vineyard, where he learned the tricks of the trade. Not long after, the young man got busy and in 2019 he started his first label, made with the same sustainable philosophy as Bill. He has now bought a piece of land in Gippsland and is putting vines in the ground.
The 2019 Pinot Noir Entropy Wines shows a ruby red colour to the eye that is not particularly deep. The nose expresses fruity aromas of cherry, cranberry and pomegranate, accompanied by slight notes of liquorice. The mouthfeel is full-bodied, with considerable acidity and a savoury finish.
