Made with 100% Chardonnay grapes, Pouilly-Fuissé 1er Cru Clos Reyssier comes from vineyards in a privileged east-facing position. The soil is composed of brown clay on a bed of crinoidal limestone, characterized by the presence of numerous marine fossils. This combination imparts a distinctive minerality and notable density to the wine.
The grapes undergo direct pressing, followed by fermentation in Clayver ceramic containers and 228-liter barrels. This vinification technique preserves the aromatic and structural integrity of the wine, giving it complexity and refinement.
