Prima Tavel 2020 Domaine Anglore
The 2020 Tavel 'Prima' is a rosé wine from the southern Rhône Valley produced by Domaine Anglore. It is made from a blend in equal parts of Cinsault and Grenache grapes from two recently acquired plots and is produced by Marie and Eric's two sons, Joris and Thibaut, who since 2017 have been collaborating in the family business following the same biodynamic farming principles as their father, a master of natural wines in the Southern Rhône Valley.
The 2020 Tavel Prima is a fresh, fruity and drinkable wine, more immediate than the Tavel Classico. It ferments spontaneously with indigenous yeasts and macerates on the skins, where it is left to rest. When the wine is ready, it is bottled without filtration, clarification or addition of sulphur dioxide.
This is a soft rosé wine with seductive aromas of fresh red fruits, wild flowers and sweet touches. The sip is juicy, fruity and crisp. It has bright acidity and a pleasant finish with a very fragrant aftertaste.
