Albamar, Galizia's wines with athlantic characterAlbamar is a Spanish winery in the Galicia region. Specifically, we are located in the Rias Baixas, on the extreme western border of Europe, where the proximity to the ocean gives the wines particular marine and savoury scents.
This area is renowned for the production of white wines, and the most important indigenous grape variety is Albariño, but red grapes are also cultivated to produce expressive, Mediterranean wines with mineral and saline aromas.
The vineyards stand on granite sand soils, some of which, located in the "O Salnes" sub-zone, are very old and have not been affected by phylloxera, which is why they are free-standing. Other plots are located inland, in the area known as Ribeira, an area particularly suited to red wines.
Organic farming principles are followed with the utmost respect for the environment and the authenticity of the products, making the wines of the Albamar winery authentic and territorial expressions of their terroir, wines with a typical marine character that are enjoying great success all over the world.
